working with maren

A black bird is taking flight from an air duct on a wall.

When you work with me, you can expect that I will hold you in a non-pathologizing lens: you are a whole person, deserving of respect, and you are not broken. I lead with curiosity and compassion not clinical detachment. I acknowledge systems, trauma, and lived experiences, centering your story, not just your symptoms. I honor neurodiversity, emotional complexity, gender expansiveness, relational choice, body-wisdom, and cultural difference and context,  I offer in-person appointments in Eugene and tele-health appointments throughout Oregon

community work
when we are well, our communities become well

As individuals work to unpack, understand and embrace their stories and learn to respond to the interdependent human (and non-human) world with accountability and care, they touch other’s lives in meaningful and inspiring ways. The positive impact of one well-enough person can reverberate infinitely.
